Unfair Field Tech Hiring
Companies List ~
Working
in the Field Tech IT Support Industry
is very tough. On the surface, it can
look like fun and easy work. However
after one goes more into it for a
while, they might find it not so in
the process. In fact, its basically
sub-contracting work where a field
tech bids for jobs on Internet work
hosting platforms and then, the
receiving hiring firm will pick and
choose from their applicant list whom
they want. And many times, these firms
have very picky project managers who
engage favoritism with certain field
techs they like plus, the idea of
better needed change is alien to them
too. Thus unfortunately, this type of
"me first" behavior will
slowly ruin such a hiring tech firm.
Whence in this industry, these firms
will rotate through new hired project
managers like a flooding river. And
even worse, some of these firms are
extremely untrustworthy too where,
they have a lot of customer and field
tech complaints. So its important to
know who and what a job tech firm
posting company is like before even
applying. Ie do they treat their
customers and staff with respect? And,
what are the real honest online
reviews saying about them too?
Also its important to note, that these
untrustworthy tech hiring firms have
no loyalty to their field techs nor,
will they even inform them if they've
been let go of from their company too
- ie to wrongly terminate and block a
tech with no reason as to why. Whence,
the terminated field tech is left with
no answer and, is basically treated as
expendable. And what's even worse, is
there are some hiring firms with
crooked project managers and employees
who are so spiteful that, they will
wrongly give a field tech they don't
like a bad review just so they can get
rid of them. And as such, this will
happen after their assigned field tech
completes their work order and submits
it for payment. Meanwhile, the tech
themselves might believe they did a
good job with a happy site customer.
Yet, not knowing some jerk project
manager (PM) or etc is going to
Revenge Report them to their people
and the job hosting platform as well.
So all-in-all, its a terribly selfish
behavior and, these PMs have no
conscience about the field techs they
negatively effect too. Thus simply
put, these (butt-holes) love hurting
others to save a buck and their petty
jobs. Again, its an "IT Field Tech
Beware Industry."
Additionally,
there are also field techs in the IT
industry who don't seem to care
about quality work or their job like
their hiring firms either. And often
times, they will dress
unprofessionally and show up to a
work site in dirty and or, ripped
pants with a logo labeled t-shirt.
To include being attitudinal towards
site staff and customers while,
having poor personal hygiene, being
unclean and having a strong body
odor about them. And in some cases,
the field tech arrives on site while
being inebriated from alcohol and or
drug abuse too. So basically, they
are willfully violating terms of
their assigned work order agreement.
So
no matter whether its an unfair
field tech hiring firm or the tech
themselves, there just seems to be
no decorum of decency among them.
And in the end, its their paying
customer who ultimately suffers.
Thus to state bluntly,
the Field
Tech IT Support Industry
sucks in many ways and, it
really needs to change for the
better. Otherwise individual
customers and or businesses who
rely on their services to fix
issues and etc, will get screwed
over with low quality billed
work in the end. Ultimately,
this can cause major financial
problems and heavy losses for
everyone involved too.
Now with this
project, its hoped that by
publicly exposing who these tech
hiring firms are and what they
do that such positive change can
happen.

Here is a simplified list
below. ~

*Owned
by ADP and is one
of the more fair
Internet work
hosting tech fee
based platforms.
The average fee
percentage charged
to techs is around
5% of their total
materials and
labor. Or, hiring
tech firms can
also opt out of
charging any tech
fees too.

*Field
Nation has very
high percentage
fees (about 14.4%)
that they charge
field techs for
the total of all
work and expenses
incurred at a job
site. Thus, they
take a big chunk
of a tech's pay at
the end. And like
other major social
media outlets,
Field Nation
deploys the use of
shadow banning to
prevent techs on
their platform,
who have
mid-to-low work
ratings or are
unpopular, from
getting work
assignments too.
Thus, techs need
to be aware of
this. As such,
researching who
the hiring firms
are first before
taking their job
orders is highly
advisable to stay
safe and away from
the bad ones.
Plus, some of the
bad ones have even
"Revenge Reported"
on techs too. Then
when the tech
tries to get the
report removed,
Field Nation
Support is very
slow to respond.
Or, they ignore
the tech's request
outright while
claiming the nasty
report is valid.
Moreover, Field
Nation uses a
strict social
credit score
system to publicly
list reviews of
how a tech is to
searching hiring
firms as well (ie
their timeliness,
quality of
performed work, a
firm's comments
about a tech and
etc).
Yet sadly in
recent years,
Field Nation has
turned into a scam
of nasty finding
work companies
platform. So in
all honesty, field
techs are better
off choosing a
more improved and
fairer fee based
Internet work
hosting site.

*Here's
a simplified list
of Net Pay
Terms
field techs can
choose from with
regards to hiring
firms.
--Net 07 = You
Get Paid In 7 Days
--Net 15 = You
Get Paid In 15 Days
--Net 21 = You
Get Paid In 21 Days
--Net 30 = You
Get Paid In 30 Days
--Net 45 = You
Get Paid In 45 Days
*So its best to
choose one (ie Net
15 Day Pay Terms or
less) if you wish to
cover your expenses
and bills on time.
NOTE in most tech's
financial
situations, anything
after Net 15 is not
worth it and not
advisable either.
ALSO,
be on the look out
for hiring firms who
take for ever (ie
7-8+ days) on a set
Net Pay time frame
too. For some firms
are crooked and
cheap enough to take
longer to approve a
completed work order
for payment just to
extend the net pay
time frame beyond
what was originally
agreed upon. Often
times, they will
even give a lame
excuse to scapegoat
and get away with it
too.
