Computer Help Desk Scams are everywhere! They
are very insidious and often hidden behind
flowery language and pretty pictures. All
seeking to defraud their victims by playing on
their lack of knowledge and innocence. Plus,
they know what various social demographics of
people to target upon too. So it's a “Buyer
Beware” event. Sadly, many decent
good-hearted individuals get duped into their
fee based traps and lose a lot of money over it.
Computer Help Desk Scams are not a victimless
crime.

"Scammers are pretending to be government
employees. They may threaten you and may demand
immediate payment to avoid arrest or other legal
action. Do not be fooled!" Social Security

If you receive a suspicious call:
1. HANG UP!
2. DO NOT GIVE THEM MONEY OR PERSONAL
INFORMATION!

Microsoft's "Windows 11" is the operating
system that most people use. It currently as of
December 2023, has no End of Support date.
However, they are ending its support for
Windows 10 on October 14, 2025. Thus, Microsoft
